Hey guys! I know I have been gone for a loooong time! I believe that electronics are not very good and like to deeply limit the time I spend on them at times. But I am back! Welcome fall 2019! This post is going to be a bit more beauty then eco friendly but I am okay with this being a very multi-topical blog! This look is going to be about Tess of the D'Urbervilles in the 4 episode series! Let's not tell a lie....Gemma Arterton does a phenomenal job at playing Tess in the 4 episode series Tess of the D'Urbervilles. From her pure simple beauty that she has to the simple clothes that do not hide her gentle grace. Her look is very good! So today I am going to show you guys how to achieve the deep red lips and flushed cheeks in the movie.
This is very basic for the key to this look is to wear no makeup at all! To achieve this look you will need a rouge called A rouge that Imitates Nature. This is basically a lip stain but it is made with a historical recipe, which is an actual representation of this look. You can buy this sample for 3 dollars when you search up rouge that imitates nature on Etsy. You simply apply this rouge on your lips twice, letting it sit in, and lightly on the cheeks for a natural flush. If you feel you want some eye makeup then you can smear some black or brown mascara on very lightly. Thats it! To be honest I wouldn't really recommend the mascara for as you wear it out through your day it smears and creates the appearance that you are wearing makeup. If you simply use this Rouge that imitates nature you will love the natural effect it has on you. It appears as if you lips are just a deep red naturally and you can not even tell there is anything on your lips at all! This is just like in the film! This also stays on very very long, but if you want to impress you can bring the small sample with you on the go to reapply if you believe it is needed. I would also recommend the habit of biting your lips and slightly pinching those cheeks of yours, if you want a natural flush but don't have this rouge on hand. It works ! Thanks for reading and tell me your thoughts! Patience and gratitude and contentment are the real beauty after all!
